Laura Morris, Paralegal

Laura moved to Raleigh from Swansboro, NC in 1983 to attend Hardbarger Jr. College. After finishing school, she began a long career as an Administrative Professional. She has worked for many types of businesses over that time.

Laura met her husband Scott in 1986 and they married in 1989, recently celebrating their 30 year anniversary. They have two sons together.

In addition to raising two children, Laura and her husband had the privilege of being caregivers for her parents and her in-laws, both sets combined, for 16 years. This life experience gives her a unique perspective and a compassionate understanding of families that are dealing with difficult decisions concerning eldercare.

Laura has been at Sharp Law since late January of 2019 and works with Guardianships. Her past work history and personal experience brings a compassionate skill set to Sharp Law.

In her free time, Laura enjoys crafting of all kinds. She sells her items at the Fall Craft Show at the NC Farmer’s Market every year.

Rick Sharp, Office Manager/Bookkeeper

Rick comes from retail store management, bringing his organizational and mathematical skills to the legal field.  Rick brought those skills to Sharp Law Offices full time in May 2018.  

Rick enjoys golf, reading and spending time with his wife (yes, that is Leslee).
